let lockport larry play overseas

keep okposo in the presser or send him to rochester, really don't care as long as okposo is anywhere but the top 9

It should be LW, I am worried they will try him as 2nd line center.

I'm guessing he will get a shot throughout the line up in training camp and preseason games.

Where ever he has the best chemistry is where he will be slotted. It could be similar to Johannson and Casey taking faceoffs on certain sides/zones and then Johannson playing the wing.

They say Kreuger is an innovative coach. I can't wait to see his playing scheme when all we have is Eichel , Dahlin and a bunch of LW's and RD.

first 2 seasons johansson had close to 9 face offs a game, 40% on a good year

second 2 seasons he had between 2 and 3 faceoffs a game, again around 40%

last 5 or so years maybe .3 face offs a game and still a low win rate

pretty certain he will be a winger

Assuming no trades for a 2C, I think you have nailed the Top 9 with Sheary as #4 LW. I think Okposo is #4 RW and Larsson makes it ahead of Sobotka as 4C.

I would say it's more likely that Johansson plays the wing, but I think he will get a look there to see if it's worth exploring.

I would rather have Larsson than Sobotka by a country mile if I had to choose.

I'd prefer to see neither of them on the team.

sobotka .316 ppg in nhl
larsson .239 ppg in nhl, and slower

if you buy into the housley had no freaking clue behind the bench sobotka is the better player and we have him under contract

bye bye lockport larry

I think Larsson was much better than Sobotka last year. Let them fight it out, loser leaves the country.

Reinhart and suddenly RW Sheary on the other followed by a bunch of nothing. Either Johansson or Olofsson move to the right imo.

Or Botterill isn't done

I wouldn't count on Nylander for anything other than getting hurt and disappearing.

Contrary to the MVP of the development camp award, Tage looked like Tage when I went to camp.

Faceoff % becomes less and less of an indicator of whether or not one is a "good center" year after year.

When we desperately needed RW's last season, it was Sobotka, Girgs, and Berglund who switched over....and Thompson stayed in the NHL because the options were so poor.

JB's hoping no one noticed that....while working on a trade.

I dont care about the 4th line as much as the other 3.
If Tage is anywhere near the top 6 Freddie should be shot onsite. He needs a year of seasoning in the AHL, find his female dog-quotient and play like a 6'4" monster not like Twiggy.
Nylander should be packaged to find a solid #1 RW for Skinner and Jack. Let Reino contribute on the 2nd.

Who do you sit when you have Risto, Bogo, Montour and Miller on the right side. How do you decrease Risto's minutes if Bogo misses time. How do you justify giving any one of those guys top pairing minutes.

Okposo needs another shot

Still a potential 20+ goal scorer with better complimentary players and better coaching.

We're paying him, he needs another chance
